I know that probably most, if not all of you, carry a pair of binos when hunting...but how about the rest of the time? ... I always have a compact pair in our vehicles, stashed in the glove box.... Many times they have come in handy, for "checking something out", and even reading street signs or store names at a distance in larger cities... I even carried a compact pair in my lunch box at work. Working for the highway department we worked the whole of Osage County, which is larger than the states of Rhode Island or Delaware, and consists of mostly woods and prairie, so they came in handy there as well....... But what about you...do you always carry a pair?

I always have a pair of old (prolly close to 15yrs now) compaq Bushnell Insta-Focus binoculars that reside in STAYPUT and that I take along hunting practically (unless I forget them) all of the time. I liked them so much that I bought a 2nd pair back around 7 or so years ago to have if that first pair every craps out ... so far I never had to dig them out yet wherever they ended up !!

Theres a pair of leupold mesa 10X50's that stay in my truck, Bino's and a camera are two things I try to keep in my truck and use them both a lot more then you'd think.

I do for woodchuck hunting but most times prior to extened eye relief binoculars I just would not use them... Worst thing when you have 4 eyes is putting binoculars out in the hot summer sun and then your eye glasses are smudged up.. Just drives you nuts cleaning them over and over and over and over again when you use regular binoculars.. Now I do have a cheap BARSKA binouculars that have extened eye relief... Wow and I like them for chuck hunting...!!!!!!

I do now with antler restrictions. The other year I didn't have any and it cost me a buck.Though I let one walk in rifle this year I probably could have taken him if I had my binocs.I'll use them for rifle now too.Plus these eyes aint getting any younger.

You are right about the eyes not getting younger Hemmy, I use binos all the time for rifle as I shoot a lot of small stuff like jaybirds, squirrels and magpies at mostly 150yd area and they are hard to spot without binos, I'm hoping to get some image stabilized binos soon, They are just amazing,

yep - only place I don't always find a pair is in the wife's Beemer. (...not that they would have helped her much last November when she took on a 10-pointer with the left-front fender, just after dark...)
