Like many I just can't afford a Saworski scope $3500.00> or a Night Force Scope$$$$$$$$>However Mullers ah they are an outstanding cheap scope...Even have a Lifetime warranty...Right now you can get one from some Mullers Web link dealers on sale, no tax, shipping paid, and with shadescreen, scope covers, and cleaning rag too..

For example....I was looking for a Silver scope for my 308 Stainless Encore barrel...A Muller 4.5 X 14 40 MM AO, with free shadescreen attachment for $104.00.

I do like the Mullers with the red dot for hunting at night....3 X 9 40 MM red dot cost about $149.00. Grant you not as expensive as the Night Force or the Saworski but it still works...

IMO $ for $ Mueller Scopes are the best buy out there.

UB,

Now just where did you happen to find out bout Windwalker ?? LOL

I had planned to buy a Mueller Mil Dot 8.5-25x44 scope for my 270 Browning this year, but the way it's shooting now with an old donated Tasco 4x16x44 Mil Dot Scope that's on it, I sure as hell ain't gunna touch it at the moment. ;) :D

Found out about Windwalker from the West Texas predator site..

Figure too...$10.00 more and you can get the Muller red dot 3 X 10 X 44 MM for $159.00.

Mullers are a outstanding scope for Encore barrel hunters... Wow I don't know How I culd ever put a $3200.00 Saworski on each of my Encore barrels...

Model99er...Yep.....Don't change the scope out if you one that is one there is shooting good. As much as I like Mullers...I still leave what ever is on mine too if it shoots good..
Why I even have some of those Illuminated and nonilluminated Redhead scopes that work outstanding....
Simmons makes the Redhead scopes for Basspro...

Kurt...Windwalker shipped me two Muller 4.5 X 14 40 MM AO scopes.. One in silver the other in black.. Wanted only the Silver...However when I got a good look at the black one and know........down the road it won't be long that I would be wanting one for another Encore barrel I told him I would take both....

Figure:
Life Time Warranty on Muller's
No State Tax
Shipping Free
Sunshade for Free
Free Cleaning cloth that hooks to your belt
SCOPE ON SALE

Sure can't get that at Basspro, Gander, or Cabelas... Um all of these companies do not even sale Mullers.....

wow 4 each for $650.00...Now thats be a good deal!!!!!!!!!

Now what I like about the day scope.. Non red dot....It's got that AO ()Adjustable Objective) setting on it...Can set it up for 10 yards to 500 + yards...Probably be a good scope for a 17 HMR or 22 WMR since you could use the scope and shoot things out to 10 yards with it.

He gave me some good guidance to...Been thinking about using a 3 X 7 32MM Red Dot muller for a 22 WMR bolt action. However this is a deep wood scope.. Better to put a plain ole 3 X 9 40 MM Muller red dot on it for shooting out to 150 yards at night time...

I've never owned any of the Muller scopes, but I have heard good things about them... But for my money, the best scopes going today, at reasonable prices, are the Swift Premiers.... They cost less, and compare very favorably with the Burris, Leupolds, and Weavers I own.
