Predator caller use Misting when calling predators... It's not a cover scent nor an attractant...Misting is suppose to play havoc with the coyotes outstanding supper smelling seneses....When the misting or vapor hits it down wind the coyote is suppose to get confused and lower it's guard.

I have a friend that makes the stuff and sales it to the general public...I have a few spray bottles of the stuff around the house....Misting compound....probably one of the most kept secrets in the predator calling world. Namely because once someone finds out the components or ingredients they market it and the person that did all of the research in the field end up with JACK for all of their work.. I actually even told my friend don't even tell me what you put into this stuff...

However you could make your own Misting compound...Now think what would screw up a coyotes senses so bad that it would make it start dreaming of being somewhere else or thinking about something different then the momment.


I will tell you this.....I have used a compound of red fox urine and rabbit urine for misting purposes...However see this stuff in my eyes would not be the stuff that wrecks up the coyotes senses... Heck they probably smell other canine urine all day and of course rabbit urine is all around them all the time..

I have been messing with some things and My brother and I have actually killed a coyote when we were using it so...I guess it works???However again I am not going to pass on here just what it is that I use to confuse the canine senses.


However you go right into your kitchen right now...Take your wivies best cooking pot...Put in some things that stink up the sun...If she runs into the kitchen while your brewing it I am sure she is going to have the confused canine look on her face. " The What In The Heck Are You Cooking In My Kitchen Look!!!!!!" Yep she surely will be confused!!!!!!!!

OK kind of hinted around things so start to brew your own MISTING COMPOUND to confuse those coyotes down wind of your calling position...
