After you go to the below listed link click on the COYOTE HUNT key to see status of 2010 hunt.. I am sure the data will be updated too to show the weights of all the coyotes harvested. Just keep checking out site until all the data is entered by the club...

Thanks Buck, seems that stats are about the same as been the last couple years, the only thing I couldn't find was the weight on this years top one.

It's there now...50 + pounds. it was coyote number #74 on the roster..they said it was coyote # 73 in error.....

Notice a new catagory to...The Heaviest Female coyote...She hit the scales at 44 pounds...Now if she also would have been the heaviest coyote. In other words took first place over the other weights... Someone could have earned......Now you ready!!!!!!!!!$13,000+ dollars this year... Didn't happen a male took the top spot..That person only got $7000.00 + dollars...

I had such a good hunt with my brother and nephew...I called in 5 coyotes using mouth calls...However guess what we ended up with? 0 harvest!!!!!!!! We only made 10 different stands...However we stayed long on stand and traveled far within our WMUs. 5A, 5B, 4B. 10 stands total for periods Friday early Morn, Friday Night, and Saturday Night into sunday Morn is not much...

2 coyotes that actually sat down and stayed for a period of time in front of the shooters that could not be shot at because of houses behind it... (Safety issue)

1 each that there he was and there he ain't no more...winded the two shooters came right into the wind where they were posting...

2 each Oh this was my chance..Using an Encore 17 Rem rifle.... The wind shifted...I am calling for the other two guys...Just did two each Female Invitational Howls on the old Johnny Stewart black open reed call. About the 18 minute mark on stand of the 45 minutes we stay too.. at the The wind shifts and they come right to me instead of going to the two shooters that were down wind of my calling...It's 1:00 AM Sunday and I see these two sets of eyes that come 30 yards from me.. I say to myself "Is that deer?" They hide in the tree line a bit why I am determinging if they are deer or coyotes...They step out into the field since they were up wind of me yet but came cross. Then I knew they were coyotes and here I am trying to shoot now two startled coyotes with a 17 Rem single shot. Now heading away from me to the next county at 50 MPH...Ah wish I had my Benelli SBE 2 filled with Deadcoyote T shot..at that time...

So I would say....I had an outstanding calling week-end for coyotes (5 coyotes called in but 0 harvested) but not productive harvest due to safety issues and or wind changng and me having the wrong gun because of the wind change..
