I'm having a problem or two......

I find that some of my posts no longer exist....... For instance...I had made several posts in Reloading under the thread "Where to start"....and they are not there now... I just got here and am looking around, so I don't know if there are others of my posts that have disappeared... I'd really like to have them restored............ And another thing...when I went to start this post, the button for "Start New Topic", when I moved to click on it...it disappeared..... I clicked anyway, and it worked, and then when I moved my little pointer deal away, the button returned.

Mongo,
Are you using Internet Explorer 6 as your web browser? It seems users using that version may get an inconsistent experience.
The symptom you described sounds like the rollover image hadn't loaded by the time you put your mouse on the button. Once it's loaded, your browser should cache it and the problem will go away.
If so, you can update to IE7 or IE8, or Get Firefox.
As for the posts you're referring to, they were made during the software conversion... They're lost forever. I placed an announcement at the top of each forum, but I probably should have made it a LOT more obvious.

Mike, I told you that I was "computer stupid"...and with that in mind, I will go on to say that I do not know what web browser this is that I use... "AT&T-Yahoo" maybe ? ... And I have no idea whatsoever of what your statement, "If so, you can update to IE7 or IE8, or Get Firefox.", means........... I guess things are working pretty well over-all...but mostly I was concerned about looseing those posts......... Thanks for your reply, and sorry that I can offer no more information about this computer than that.

No worries, the browser is the application you run to open web pages.
Chances are, you're clicking on a blue-colored 'e' to get to the internet?

No...actually the icon I click on at the "come-up-screen" (I think they call it a "desk-top"...mine's John Wayne, by the way.) that you get when you turn the computer on, is a little white globe with blue lines running horizontially, and attached to the lower right of it is a little purple circle with a purple "!" to the side of it, and a white "Y" inside the circle...and right underneath it, it says "AT&T Yahoo!"
