However when hunting coyotes and fox Crossed styks are better. From drive way makers, to crossed arrows, to dowel rods all held in place by one of them there Calf Castration Gromets!!!!!!!

I'v done a lot of looking around and I've pretty much decided I'm gunna get one of these (check out the on-line commercial) ...

... whenever funding is available.

Lets see I think I would stick with a Harris for chuck hunting and get those drive way markers and insert two into the Calf castration gromet for mobile fox and coyote hunting.

Besides, in addition to some use hunting Groundhog, Fox, and Yote, that succa is gunna see the vast majority of it's action during VA Deer Season.
This Deer Season, it will be supporting my 243 Model99 ... which is now topped with a Mueller 8.5x25x44m Mil-Dot Scope and is now wearing my home-brew "Trash-bag/Camo Duct Tape" Cammo job.

Model99er I think it's time I start to pull out and use some of those shooting sticks I have purchased on clearance in the off season.
I do admit the three legs would be better then two legs....So if you were going to buy a shooting stick my as well go for the three legged one before the two legged one.
The Harris Bi Pod? Um I wonder if one of my favorite people on here gets a royalty everytime someone purchase one?????LOL LOL

I like Primos stuff, but at the prices they charge from their on-line store, you won't ever catch me buying stuff directly from them.
We've had an Ollies store (only bout 30 min away) now for at least a year or more that I haven't yet visited; wonder if they ever carry any hunting related gear ?? I'v been meaning to venture over and see what they had anyway ... places like Ollies, Farm & County, and Tractor Supply are my kind of places; I just enjoy walking around those kind of places, even if I don't end up buying a darn thing !!

This thang is the CAT'S ASS !!
No fussing or fumbling around tighening legs, just plop it down, squeeze the trigger, and adjust to the desired height. Easily worth the extra money if you want to make a quick setup. I'm gunna really enjoy this succa come Deer Season.

OK.....Night Time Calling....You have to be able to call and watch in the down wind direction to pick up coyote or fox eyes coming into your calling...Prone position and sitting down ready for a shot just ain't going to be to a night time predator hunters advantage...One that wants to shoot on the level plains at night time needs to be standing...Standing so you can see all around you..Also you need a standing TRIPOD,,,,Not a BIPOD, TRIPOD so you can see the coyote with your head light and that their anteater attachment on it..Lay the rifle in the standing TRIPOD and make the shot at the red fox or coyote looking at you 100 yards out... So using the Muller scope on your gun...You illuminate the eyes with your ant-eater head light on your head... It would be so much easier to be standing and using a TRIPOD that you can stand and shoot..Sitting down on level ground just is not the proper thing to do if you want to see the incoming predators..
Model99er how do you like that Primos TRIPOD? I am considering that because the handle does drop just where it's in line with your eyes....There is also one called "The BOG".
I have a Monopod that I am using now for shooting standing up...It works but you need the three legs so you can have less weave etc etc etc...
So far the Primos Tripod is selling for $119.00 in Basspro...I am trying to get Gander Mtn to price match that since they want $129.99. Hoefver they also drop the price down at Gander below what their competitor is selling it for...By the way remember that about Gander Mtn if you want to buy a gun etc or expensive item..They will price match and give it to you maybe 10-20% cheaper. see the ydo not tell you that so you have to say hey, By The Way Basspro has this for $119.99. Can you make it better?
See Model99er I remember this post about that there Primos Tripod....Yep I think thats just what the doctor ordered for sure!!!!

UB,
I'm glad I'm able to help you for a change, usually that shoe is on the other foot.
Ok, as it turns out I have both a Bog Pog and the Primos Trigger Stick Tripod. Being the cheapsake I am, I bought the Bog Pod first; then found a new Prmos Trigger Stick after that on Ebay for $91, that I bought since I wanted one sooooo bad. I should have got it for around $70, but I wasn't gunna let the other succa outbid me. LOL
I haven't used my Bod Pod at all, and it all it does is serve as a backup in case something should happen to my Primos Trigger Stick. The Bog Pod's downfall is that it takes far too damn long to setup (each leg needs adjusted and tightened individually), especially for hunting predators.
The Trigger Stick is awesome and is well worth $120 or more !!! It sets up quick (well under a minute, closer to 15 sec), even on a slope.
If you get one, you can make some sort of "fish net" bag type thingy to hang down from the inside middle of it to hold your scanning light when Nightime Predator Hunting on an area or target while you can scan closer with your rifle and a scope light.
For the "Ultimate Cat's Ass Setup" ... you should also try to get a hold of Ernie (Buckwheat on your site) and see if his svivel tripod head thingy will or can be made to screw onto the Trigger Stick ... that my friend would be one real bad-ass Yote Hunting Setup !!!

However you can shoot with the Primos Tripod on the side of a hill and set up fast so I am more positive then negative about the Primos Tripod...However?????Will the need for all of this predator calling equipment ever end? Feel like a Golfer or a waterfowler who needs vast equipment to do their sport...
