Tonight's Chat sure was fun and educational as well !! Heck, some folks even learned how to make "Shine" from a "Crockpot Still", not to mention the "proper method" to drink "Shine" !!! ... roflmao
Heck, even PAP (the old coot) made a special appearance !!
Ya'll come back now, here !!

Guess Pap must have showed after I left...and I noticed hemmy in the forum about that time too. Too bad he did not show up... I hung on to that "'shine" site. Never know when something like that may come in handy. I have made beer and wine, but never tried shine. Got a friend that lives way back in the sticks that makes off some fair tasty blackberry brandy. Gonna run off a copy of the "crock pot still" for him.... But don't know what good it would do him as the little shed he built and lives in has hot and cold running roaches, but not much else. Does not have electric, and he has to haul his water. About the only modern conviences he has is his '68 Bronco and Remington 700 in .270. But he has been thinking of getting a generator. Maybe this will convince him to do that.

Well, I hate to say it, but I was rather disappointed in the chat on Friday. I had honestly expected the chat to shift at some point to hunting or fishing, but for the 3 hours I was on there, it never did. Hate to say it, but I don't think I'll be giving up my friday nights anymore.

Sniper, sorry you were disappointed....But the chat is generally pretty lax, with no solid guidelines or absolute topics, other than common decorum. Fact is we do often talk about hunting, and sometimes fishing.... The chat is really just a kind of B.S. session, where about anything is liable to be discussed from hunting to turd burners and fishing to crop circles. It just gives us a chance to get to know each other better.... Like a group of friends that gathers to pop a cold one and shoot the breeze... It isn't ment for a person to give up something to be there. It is ment for our members to enjoy a little friendly camaraderie. ...I was glad to see you there... and I do hope you will come again.

This chat might've went, say, a little crazy. That was the first time "we" all had been together like that in a long time. And since "we" usually tend to cut up....I guess we got a little crazy with it, having missed it.
Apologies to you as well, Jamie...if you were offended....like I said..we all hadn't been together like that in a long time..and usually when we are together like that, ya have to wear your waders cause "it" runs deep.
But..it's an open floor...anyone is welcome and encouraged to "change the subject, open a new subject, start a subject" at any time. absolutely welcomed to.
