Curious what Audio/Sound Editing Software everyone here is using to create or edit their calling sequences ??
I just started using the WavePad Sound Editor (free version ... http://www.nch.com.a...pad/index.html) and so far, really like. It's easy to create and save a new Calling Sequence by either inserting or appending existing sounds. You can also insert "silence" with ease; it does everything I need or wanted to do.

99er make sure your place a piece of adhesive reflective auto tape on your mp3 player and the speakers. If they malfunction you will be able to find them with your light. Now don't go and shoot the MP3 player. Sometimes my electronic callers look like fox eyes when my lights hit the place they are sitting. While it does not pertain to editing. I just want to make sure you find your MP3 player or the speaker should it shut off on you. Wal-mart auto department sale's it.

... another one that I found somewhere in my travels. I've never tried or tested it, so I can't offer any pros or cons. Use it at you own risk.

A piece of advice for those who may have or are considering building an MP3 based Predator Call.
Not all, but some MP3 players will play in a "continuous mode" by default. What this means, is that if you are using an MP3 Player for a Predator Call and select a call, your MP3 Player may well skip to a 2nd call, once the 1st call has ended.
If you have this problem, the easiest way i'v found to work around it is to make each of your calls/sounds/calling sequences on their own unique "Album Name". This can be done by using selecting the "properties" (right clicking on the sound MP3) and using the "advanced feature" to create or change the "Album Name".
Thou not a necessity, to avoid an possible confusion, I simply create or change the "Album Name" to match the name (Title) I'v given the call or calling sequence.
Then use the "Album" mode on your MP3 Player to select the desired call(s); this will force the MP3 Player to only play the desired call and then stop !!
Also, while in the "properties" menu for the sound, you can also change the "Artist" if so desired.
For Example ...
Artist: ME
Album: UB_Sequence1
Title: UB_Sequence1
Also, here is a link to a good video that shsow how to remove "white noise" from downloaded sounds ...
