I have been looking for a nice mount for the AMT Lightning Pistol. This is a 10 1/2 barreled, stainless clone of the Ruger MK II Auto. It is not drilled and tapped for scope mounts. I know Weigand and B-Square make some mounts for the MK II. If you have these mounts, how do you like them? If not, what would you suggest?

I would really like to find a Picatinny rail about 3 1/2 to 4 inches long, with a 1 in. radius on the bottom, black or silver annodized. Low profile is best to enable the iron sights, if the Aimpoint Micro T-1 Red-Dot is removed. I have a Machinist friend that will drill and tap the gun and even put the radius on the bottom of the rail if needed

I have a B-Square on my Mk-II with the 11" bull barrel, carrying a 2X Burris. It balances nicely and the gun is a tack driver.

Well after some research, I went for the Weigand mount in Silver. It only has 4 cross slots but they are in the right places. I also got a Volquartsen oversized slide release lever. I went with the company below since they had free shipping and don't charge the "special handling" charge for small orders like Midway.
