Proud Pap again He got his Buck Rate Topic: -----

  • Interests:Hunting,fishing,shooting and reloading, also boating when I have time. Have gotten more into shooting and reloading the last few years. I started loading in 1966 and after a few years I got away from it a little.

My Grandson got his Buck with the rifle this AM. A three pointer it wasn't as big as he 5 pointer he killed last year but it gave him a good shot. This has been a good year for him a doe with his bow and now a Buck with the rifle, pretty good for a 12 year old. ;)

99er I don't have a dig. camera and my scanner went south. I will try to get some as soon as I can.



He was useing his Oncore 270 Win. with Horonady 130 gr. over IMR 4350 powder. He dropped it right in its tracks. He has killed 2 other Deer with his 243 Rem. 700 in past years.

Only thing is, it is funny his grades stay up until after hunting season and then they seem to drop off drasticlly. It drives his Dad mad and he swears if he does it this year he is going to sell his guns and motorcycle.

Congrats to him again!! That is too cool! Yeah..lol.."not bad for a 12 year old"..he's doing better than a lot of us grown folks!!! Way proud of him!
