Curious about you posters How many have to open the bullet boxes in hunting stores just to take a look at some of the bullets. I'm always careful not to rip or damage the box flaps.

One of my favorites to look at is the 6.5 Swede. Now there is a bullet configuration that looks neat.

The other day I was in Dunams and they had a box on sale for $8.00. I do not even own a 6.5 Swede but I almost bought them. I did not but I was thinking about it. LOL

Down the road I know I will be ordering a 6.5 Swede barrel for my Encore. I just like how that bullet looks. Also I know it's an outstanding whitetail deer caliber.

LOL... I have done it a time or two myself UB... I do have a 6.5 Jap Arisaka that shoots pretty well for an old military rifle, and is one of our "nasty weather" deer rifles..... Speaking of a "strange looking" cartridge... A number of years ago I was offered a "deal" on a French 8mm LeBelle rifle... It was in very good condition and the fella told me that it shot excellently, for an old military rifle...and for 50 bucks, I figured... "Why Not", I knew a few places where "odd-ball" ammo could be found...... Well, I did find ammo. But the only ammo I found was at a large gun shop in Tulsa, and it was old, corroded, and I had serious doubts that it would even shoot. And, it was in baggies of 20 at a price of 27 or 29 dollars a baggie....... This gun still resides in my safe...and one of these days, when I become wealthy, I may look for some decent ammo and actually shoot the thing.
